A Platform for
Social Action in Japan

We unleash the power of people to create, accelerate and support bold solutions for positive change

We are a Japan-based, international organisation of social impact and sustainability specialists, focused on co-creating solutions and building a new era of sustainable and equitable development. Since 2017, we’ve been working with global brands, governments & social changemakers to tackle real-world problems and create lasting change.

Our Story

Social Innovation Japan was founded on the belief that we already have the resources to create a fairer, more sustainable world; we just need to make it happen.

Our founding members have extensive experience working on social and environmental challenges; from post-disaster recovery in rural Japan to the Himalayas, to supporting Diversity and Inclusion in corporations and launching tech startups tackling environmental challenges. We use this experience to build a diverse community of changemakers, facilitate collaborations, start and support new innovations, and work with companies and organisations to help them do good, better.

Together, we are creating a movement for change from Japan, with the rest of the world.
