Talk at Place2B: Sustainability and Innovation
On 5th June 2019, SIJ's Co-founder and Director Mariko was invited to give a talk about sustainability, innovation in business and the circular economy an event hosted by Place2bB, Bouygues Asia, Institut français du Japon and La French Tech Tokyo.
Along with representatives from Veolia Japan and Citizens for Climate - Japan, Mariko explored the business opportunities that are presented by social and environmental challenges, giving examples of the fundamental changes that need to take place to capture these opportunities.
There is clearly a growing interest and engagement in the topic of sustainability and innovation amongst businesses in Japan, and we look forward to seeing more events like these.
