SIJ selected for prestigious "APAC Sustainability Seed Fund 2.0"

We are thrilled to announce that Social Innovation Japan has been selected as one of the recipients of the $5 million “APAC Sustainability Seed Fund 2.0”!

The funding will be used to improve and scale up SIJ’s mymizu initiative, the co-created technology platform that has saved millions of plastic bottles from going to waste.

It's an honour to be chosen from hundreds of environmental organisations across APAC using technology to tackle the Climate Crisis for this prestigious award.

Running a mission-driven, not-for-profit tech platform like mymizu entails facing uncertainty, financial hurdles, anxiety, and instability.

However, it is moments such as these, along with the generosity of numerous contributors, supporters, partner companies, and individual donors, that empower us to create an impact and expand mymizu's reach to serve a larger audience.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to the Asia Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN), Google.org and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for this incredible opportunity.
