Sustainability Leadership Training @ Ajinomoto

(日本語以下) SIJ’s Representative Director Mariko McTier recently ran a workshop for Ajinomoto Group to support 15 of their young employees in becoming innovative sustainability leaders 🙌

It was exciting to meet so many highly motivated participants who were keen to learn and figure out how they could lead the change.

We love creating these kinds of programs; to both share insights and experiences that might help others to spot opportunities and overcome challenges related to sustainable innovation, but also to learn from the questions we’re asked and the rich discussions.

We learnt a lot from everyone, and hope the participants also took away some tools and insights they can use to make magic happen!

先日、一般社団法人 Social Innovation Japan のマリコがサステナビリティ・リーダーを育成することを目指し、味の素社の若手社員15人を対象にしたワークショップを実施させていただきました！

参加者は全員やる気と好奇心に溢れ、学ぶことに熱心で、組織内のチェンジメーカー になろうという意欲にも溢れていました。

今直面している気候危機やあらゆる環境・社会問題と、自分の仕事内容や自分にできること、仲間と話しながら点と点を結びつけることで、みんなのエネルギーが変化していくのもよくわかりました。

参加者の皆さんには、自分たちが直面している問題や機会について理解を深めていただいただけでなく、「サステナビリティ」や「 #サーキュラーエコノミー 」という概念を形にしていく力を身につけ、今後チェンジメーカーとして使えるツールやノウハウを少しでも持ち帰っていただけたら嬉しいなと思っています！
