Noto Peninsula Earthquake Relief: Online Event

Yesterday marked 1 month since the earthquake struck Japan's Noto Peninsula.

The damage has been extensive, with over 230 lives lost, 43,000 houses damaged, and 10,000 residents still in evacuation centers.

On Sunday 4th Feb, Social Innovation Japan will be co-hosting an English-language event about the current situation and how to assist those in need.

We're excited to be collaborating with Peace Boat Disaster Relief and Peace Boat, who began relief operations in the immediate aftermath of the disaster and continue to carry out important work on the ground to this day, to host an information session in English on Sunday from 5 pm (JST).

This session is for anyone interested in learning more about the current situation, as well as how to best support through volunteering and other activities.

We hope to see you there!
