Speaking at Nagasaki's Peace-preneur Forum 2024

SIJ’s Co-CEO Robin was invited to speak at the Nagasaki Peace-Preneur Forum powered by One Young World, an international conference convening leaders from business, government and civil society around the theme of peacebuilding, innovation and entrepreneurship.

It was an honour to give an introductory speech titled “Beyond GDP”, as well as join a panel discussion on the theme of “Power to the People (citizen empowerment)” with a distinguished line-up of guests.

SIJ also had the chance to co-organised a workshop for young leaders on the theme of “Beyond GDP” with delegates from all over the world, which culminated in several new ideas and concrete projects that can help communities go beyond economic growth to also encompass wellbeing, prosperity, sustainability and human happiness.
