Social Innovation Training @ Pasona Group

SIJ’s Representative Director Robin Lewis had the chance to visit the beautiful Awaji Island to deliver a talk and workshop on Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation at the Awaji Youth Federation, part of the Pasona Group.

It was so energizing to connect with leaders from 20+ countries working on big challenges, from waste management to urban design and everything in between.

After a deep dive into Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship, the participants discussed how to create and accelerate solutions to social problems; some ideas included building parks with digital art, creating spaces for inter-generational dialogue and turning sewerage into fuel.

We’re excited to see the projects flourish in Japan and beyond!
