ASEAN-Japan Young Environmental Leaders’ Network Launch Ceremony

SIJ’s Representative Director Robin will be giving the Keynote Speech at this week's ASEAN-Japan Young Environmental Leaders’ Network Launch Ceremony (21st September 2023) 🌏

37 of the brightest youngsters tackling plastic pollution have been chosen out of hundreds of applicants across 11 countries in Asia.

They will receive hands-on training - as well as 100,000 yen seed funding - to carry out their projects and make a major impact on marine pollution and environmental challenges in their communities for years to come. By March 2024, we should see the impact of their projects across the region!

We love working with young people to co-create bold solutions to societal problems and are grateful to be a part of this initiative. We’re looking forward to seeing what’s to come from this remarkable group!
