ASEAN Blue Innovation Expo, Jakarta

Our Co-CEO Robin had the chance to serve as a judge / commentator at the ASEAN Blue Innovation Expo last month, where 60 of ASEAN's top impact-driven startups showcased their Blue Economy solutions!

Organised by UNDP Indonesia, the Expo was an inspiring showcase of startups driving positive change in areas including sustainable fisheries, aquaculture, marine plastics, climate adaptation & sustainable tourism.

Some of the featured solutions included:

  • 🌾 Warehouse pallets made from agricultural waste

  • ♻️ Refill-friendly vending machines

  • 🌊 Construction tiles made from ghost nets

  • ☕ Smart Returnable Coffee Cups

Congratulations to all who shared their stories and solutions, and thank you for the many inspiring connections and conversations! It's exciting to see this growing movement of startups, investors, foundations, and social enterprises working to drive sustainable, ocean-based growth 🌊
